A Pay as You Play Rover is a curler who is not registered in a League, but wishes to be able to spare in any Invermere District Curling Club league.
All persons playing as spares in an Invermere District Curling Club league must be registered in a league or, alternatively, as a "Rover" at the Invermere District Curling Club. A Rover is a person who is not registered in an Invermere District Curling Club league, but wishes to be eligible to spare in any league for which she or he is gender qualified. The Pay as You Play Rover registration fee is $40 plus Curl BC / Curling Canada affiliation fees of $27. Pay as You Play Rovers are required to pay $10 for each game played. Payment must be made at the Club's bar on the day that the game is played. (For the sake of clarity, a curler who is registered in a regular IDCC league is not required to register as a Rover to be eligible to spare in his or her own league or in another IDCC league.)
