If you're new to curling or more interested in having fun than being competitive, the Thursday night Fun League may be for you. Games are 6 ends instead of the regular 8. As this is a very informal league, teams are picked based on who shows up on any given Thursday evening. This coming season we will continue with one draw at 7:00 PM. If registration numbers indicate we will once again have over the 32 people, we will have two draws, one at 6:45 and one at 8:45. We encourage people to consider registering as a team instead of individually. This will help with scheduling and then we can fill in with individual drop-ins. The fee for an individual curler is $170. plus the $27 Curl BC and Curling Canada affiliation fee. Curlers register as individuals, but may indicate in the registration form if they are part of a team. If a team wants to name more than 4 persons as team members and rotate and share playing duties, the additional person or persons must be registered as a Rover. See our "Leagues" page in Curling I/O for Rover registration options. Curlers on a team with more than four persons registered can work out any fee adjustments among themselves.
