If you're new to curling or more interested in having fun than being competitive, the Thursday night Fun League may be for you. Games are 6 ends instead of the regular 8. This league was very popular last year and teams were picked based on who showed up. A few times we were over the maximum number of 32 curlers. This coming season we will continue with one draw at 7:00 PM. If registration numbers indicate we will once again have over the 32 people, we will have two draws, one at 6:45 and one at 8:45. We encourage people to consider registering as a team instead of individually. This will help with scheduling and then we can fill in with individual drop-ins. The fee for an individual curler is $123. plus the $20 Curl BC and Curling Canada affiliation fee. Curlers register as individuals, but may indicate in the registration form if they are part of a team. If a team wants to name more than 4 persons as team members and rotate and share playing duties, the additional person or persons must register as a "Fifth or Sixth Person" and pay the $20 Curl BC and Curling Canada affiliation fee. Curlers on a team with more than four persons registered can work out any fee adjustments among themselves. The league convenor is Wes Coulson.
